New Bills Filed by Rep. Jim Guest
I have filed many bills in order to secure states rights and to protect Missourians privacy and freedom from the growing threat from our federal government. My Five Points to Americas Freedom legislation is a system to return the power back to the American Citizens and removed from the government.
The Constitution and Bill of Rights were drafted to remind our government that they had limited powers. States must stand together to reaffirm or state sovereignty and stop the insurgence into our private lives from our governments.
Please stand with me and contact your legislators to have them get in the fight for your freedom. If you are outside Missouri please send this legislation to your representatives. “United we stand divided we fall”.

Rep. Jim Guest Named Chair of House Committee on Real ID and Personal Privacy
Jefferson City— House Speaker Ron Richard, R-Joplin, today named Representative Jim Guest, R-King City, to chair the newly-created House Committee on Real ID and Personal Privacy for the 95th General Assembly.
“Jim has been the leading voice on this issue in our state and in our nation. He has committed himself to protecting the personal privacy of all Americans and worked tirelessly to prevent the federal government from enacting policies that would jeopardize our freedom,” said Speaker Richard. “He is the natural choice to lead this committee as it works to ensure the rights of Missourians are protected from overly-intrusive government actions.”
The House Committee on Real ID and Personal Privacy considers and reports upon bills and matters referred to it relating to the protection of personal privacy and security concerns. As chair of the committee, Rep. Guest will preside over committee hearings and be responsible for all legislation referred to the committee.
“Speaker Richard has my sincere appreciation for creating this committee and giving me the honor of serving as chair,” said Rep. Guest. “I am a strong believer in our right to keep personal information private and I have worked to oppose any government policy that threatened that right. With the help of my committee members, I hope to send a clear message that Missouri respects the privacy of its citizens and will stand firm to defend them from government policies that could expose their information to those who would use it for illicit purposes.”
